DeeDee Williams, PhD

brings over two decades of ministry experience, serving as a Girls' Minister at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, TX, and
contributing devotionals to The Psalms and Proverbs Devotional for Women.
She has a deep passion for teaching God’s Word and has written and led Bible studies in various churches.

As a former pastor’s wife, she has faithfully supported her husband in ministry while equipping and discipling others in their faith.
Her commitment to biblical literacy extends to her role as an instructor for the LifeWay Women’s Academy, where she has taught courses on the Historical Books and Minor Prophets—a program spearheaded by Jen Wilkin.

She also serves as an adjunct professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) and is a Thrive Instructor in the NOBTS Ministry Wives Certificate Program.

Driven by a desire to serve the church with excellence, DeeDee earned a Master of
Divinity in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
and holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology.

She is married to W. Andrew "Ted" Williams, and together they have three children—Kenzie, Wyatt, and Maddie. For over a decade, DeeDee has ministered alongside her husband, who currently serves as the Associate Dean of the Christian Ministries Division and Assistant Professor of Expository Preaching at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Their family is honored to be part of the transformative work God is doing on campus and in the lives of students preparing for ministry.

Above all, DeeDee is a devoted disciple of Christ with a heart for fostering Bible literacy. She believes that theological education should empower the local church to flourish and bear lasting fruit for God’s kingdom.
